On Friday, October 20th, our Cubo’s Owner’s Summit took place at the Antonio Gala Theater (Alhaurín el Grande, Málaga), attended by over 400 property owners from the Costa del Sol and the Guadalhorce Valley.
A local event of significance
The Cubo’s Owner’s Summit took place at 7:00 p.m. at the Antonio Gala Theater, with a large number of property owners who trust Cubo’s Holiday Homes to manage their vacation properties. Additionally, we had the pleasure of hosting prominent local figures, including Anthony Bermúdez, Mayor of Alhaurín el Grande; Luis Guerrero, First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Tourism of Alhaurín el Grande; Macarena Herrera, Councilor for Economic Development of Alhaurín el Grande; Toñi Ledesma, Vice President of the Provincial Council of Málaga; and María Rosa Morales, Territorial Delegate for Development, Territorial Articulation, and Housing in Málaga.
Event Kickoff: Evolution of Cubo’s Holiday Homes
Cubo’s Holiday Homes CEO, Juan Cubo, inaugurated the session with an introductory talk about the company. With over 350 properties under our management, the company has undergone a significant evolution in recent years. Our CEO also emphasized the differential value that the Cubo’s vacation rental platform brings to property owners.
High-level informational sessions
The event unfolded in three key blocks. In the first block, the participation of key collaborators of the company was highlighted. Renowned experts such as Javier Rodríguez and Irene Codina from Booking.com, María Flores from Beyond, Beatriz García from Cubo’s Servicios al Propietario, Ben Smith from Checkin Scan, Gabriel Pérez from Roomonitor, and Santiago Tobón, founder of Aloja Experience, shared their knowledge and experiences.
The second block focused on legal and administrative matters, featuring the collaboration of Mar Alcázar, lawyer and founding partner of BoldRentals, along with Álvaro Graciani, lawyer and economist. Noelia Trujillo, Managing Director of VITUR SUMMIT, and María Jesús de Llano, Municipal Tourism Technician from the Alhaurín el Grande City Council, also joined the discussion.
The third block was dedicated to Cubo’s Holiday Homes owners. During this segment, awards were presented to the best-rated accommodations in 2023, and plaques were awarded for the SICTED seal, representing the Commitment to Tourist Quality promoted by the State Secretary for Tourism.
A great conclusion to the Cubo’s Owner’s Summit
The event concluded with a catering session that fostered relaxed moments, putting the finishing touch on an event filled with learning and interaction. In summary, the Cubo’s Owner’s Summit was an enriching event that strengthened the community of property owners and collaborators, marking a milestone in the vacation rental industry on the Costa del Sol.
