Molisur

Molisur is a family business that, after dedicating itself for more than a decade to grinding olives for extra virgin olive oil, moved to new facilities of more than 30,000 square meters. The visit takes us into an oil mill with the latest technology. In addition, in its museum area, we will enjoy a mill from 1910 that works thanks to hydraulic energy.

Whoever visits Molisur can become an olive farmer for a day, collect olives in the most traditional way on the farm, plant an olive tree that becomes part of the world’s largest garden of olive varieties in the province of Malaga, or enjoy a tailor-made tasting workshop in which the main characteristics of the different oils will be known. The facilities also have a Sabor a Málaga product store.

Molino del Hortelano

Location: Camino Real, 29160 Casabermeja, Málaga

In Casabermeja we find the Molino del Hortelano, an idyllic place surrounded by olive groves and where we can discover the entire process of making extra virgin olive oil both in a modern mill and in an old stone mill from the 18th century, which previously It was a wine press.

The place, full of history, has been recovered by Juan Cabello and his family, with the firm intention of making those who visit fall in love with the olive culture of Andalusia. The Cabello family has recovered the exceptional winery and has one of the few beam and quintal presses that exist in the province of Malaga. The visit can be completed with a tasting of its organic oils.

In addition to seeing the modern mill and the old mill, they offer activities to complete the visit, such as a tasting of the oils from Molino del Hortelano or the Miller’s Breakfast.

La Samiaja

Location: Archidona

In Archidona, Mª Jesús Córdoba and his family offer you the opportunity to get closer to the world of organic production of extra virgin olive oil. A centenary Andalusian Cortijo from the 19th century is the prelude to an immense ecological olive grove. Among the activities offered by the Córdoba family are visits to the olive grove and tastings of organic extra virgin olive oil that can be completed with an aperitif with Sabor a Málaga products and wines.

Finca La Torre

Location: Camino Finca la torre, 29540 Bobadilla, Málaga

Finca la Torre is a place surrounded by nature and bathed in the sun located in the region of Antequera. They produce an organic extra virgin olive oil that has been recognized as the Best Oil in the World for seven consecutive years.

The visit to the farm goes through three areas: the olive grove, where the olives are grown, the mill, where the olives are ground; and the surroundings, where the reason for the development of olive grove cultivation in the area is known a little better. The visit, which lasts two hours, is completed with a tasting. In addition, they offer on request breakfast and lunch at the farm.

Aloreña Olive Tour

Location: Comarca Natural del Valle del Guadalhorce

In the Natural region of the Guadalhorce Valley, the Aceituna Aloreña de Málaga is produced, a table olive recognized with a Denomination of Origin (the first of its characteristics in Spain) around which an entire agricultural and ethnographic culture revolves. In Alozaina, the company Abeto del Sur offers guided tours to discover everything related to the Aloreña olive: its cultivation, its production (the visit includes an olive production workshop), and of course, its tasting.
